REDtone IOT has been named Malaysia Innovative Smart City Solution Provider of the Year by Frost & Sullivan, through its Smart City application called CitiAct.
The award, a first for REDtone IOT, was conferred at the Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Award held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, yesterday, recognized REDtone IOT as one of the first providers in Malaysia that offered a cost effective infrastructure tracking solution for agencies.

REDtone IOT leverages its capabilities in network connectivity to being a platform and application provider. REDtone IOT offers a subscription-based pricing model to enable local councils to track specific assets and infrastructure without the need to invest in capital expenditure.
Its CitiAct application engages citizens by allowing them to lodge a report via their smartphones on various issues. The app’s progress has been instrumental in driving the smart city development in Malaysia.
With it strong overall performance, REDtone IOT has earned the 2016 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Innovative Smart City Solution Provider of the Year award.

The recognition was conferred at a prestigious banquet and award presentation ceremony held on April 14, 2016, in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the presence of Frost & Sullivan’s Managing Director, Hazmi Yusof. REDtone IOT’s CEO, Dr. Mazlan with the presence of REDtone International’s Managing Director, Dato’ Wei Chuan Beng accepted the award on behalf of REDtone IOT.
