REDtone Celebrates Triple AI Recognition in 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 November 2026

REDtone Digital Berhad has received three major AI recognitions from PIKOM, WITSA and ASOCIO in 2026, highlighting its growing capabilities in enterprise AI and intelligent automation.

At the centre of REDtone’s enterprise AI offering is AI Voice, built around a clear proposition: “It doesn’t just talk. It acts and it delivers.” Beyond responding to enquiries, AI Voice can understand customer needs, connect with existing business systems and initiate relevant actions. Working alongside AI Engage and Intelligent Workflow Automation, it helps organisations manage customer interactions, streamline routine processes and reduce manual workloads.

These recognitions come as REDtone celebrates its 30th anniversary, reflecting the company’s continued progress in developing practical AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes and meaningful public impact.

Recognising Innovation in Intelligent Automation

At the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards (PDEA) 2026, REDtone was recognised in the Artificial Intelligence: Intelligent Automation category. This marked the company’s second consecutive year of recognition at PDEA.

The award reflects REDtone’s work in connecting AI Voice, AI Engage and Intelligent Workflow Automation. The combination helps organisations move from handling a customer enquiry to completing the next step, whether that involves retrieving information, creating a service request, routing a case or triggering a follow-up through an existing business system.

For enterprise teams, the value lies in how these capabilities fit into day-to-day workflows. AI can handle repetitive interactions, support employees with timely information and help keep processes consistent, while more complex matters can still be directed to the right people.

Bringing Malaysian AI Applications to the Global Stage

REDtone also received the Global AI Award for Use Cases at the WITSA Global AI Awards 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan. The recognition highlights its Enterprise AI Platform, which brings together AI Voice and AI Engage to address operational needs across different industries.

Selected REDtone AI deployments have demonstrated measurable improvements across customer engagement, outreach and back-office processes:

  • 10× greater outreach capacity for event marketing and lead qualification, without additional headcount.
  • More than 50% reduction in customer enquiry backlogs through AI-powered engagement.
  • Financial report generation shortened from days to minutes.
  • 90% fewer purchase order-related calls and emails, supported by automated processing and verification.

These examples represent different use cases, rather than a single implementation. What they share is a practical focus: improving turnaround times, easing repetitive work and helping organisations respond more effectively as demand grows.

The WITSA recognition reinforces REDtone’s approach to enterprise AI as technology that needs to integrate with existing systems and produce outcomes that organisations can assess.

Making AI Work for the Public Good

At the ASOCIO Digital & AI Awards 2026, REDtone received the AI for Public Good Award for its AI-powered Omnichannel Citizen Engagement Platform, developed for a Malaysian local council.

The initiative is designed to make municipal services easier to access. Citizens can use familiar digital channels to find information, check service or application details, and submit requests, while the platform connects these interactions to relevant council systems and workflows. Enquiries needing additional attention can be escalated to human officers.

The platform’s implementation scope and design specifications include:

  • 5+ citizen-facing digital channels for access to municipal information and services.
  • 7 database integration areas supporting information and service processes.
  • Designed capacity of 43 queries per minute, rather than a reported live throughput figure.
  • Approximately 722,300 residents in the service area, reflecting potential reach rather than active platform users.

The council initiative also provides a foundation for a planned next phase of AI Voice integration, which would allow citizens to interact through natural-language voice conversations in multiple languages.

For REDtone, the ASOCIO award highlights a different side of AI adoption: making public information and services more accessible while keeping human support available when it matters.

Celebrating 30 Years of Innovation

These three recognitions reflect REDtone’s commitment to developing practical AI solutions, supported by the dedication of its research, engineering and delivery teams.

As REDtone celebrates its 30th anniversary, the company remains focused on advancing AI capabilities that help businesses operate more efficiently and communities access better digital services.
